UX Case Studies

My creative identity can best be illustrated with a mind map starting with my core values at the center surrounded by the things that lend structure to them.At the center is Art. Art is where it all begins for me, it’s how I see the world and how I express ideas. Whether through painting, drawing, or design, creating is my foundation. From that core, Graphic Design and Photography grow naturally. With a BFA in Graphic Design and a background in studio art, I’m comfortable in both analog and digital spaces.

I work in print, photo editing, and freelance design, always blending visuals with purpose. Surrounding that is how I work and how I think. I’m detail-oriented, with a focus on balance, clarity, and precision, especially in print production and editing. I enjoy building visual systems that communicate well and look great. I value focus and I strive to stay centered in both my work and personal life. As the map grows outward, we hit UX Design. This is where I’m actively learning, exploring tools like Figma and Notion, and diving deeper into concepts like personas, wireframes, and prototypes.  I touched on these during my design studies, and now I’m circling back to approach them with more intention.

Around that layer is inspiration and recharge.  I travel, I hike, I go to the gym, I spend time with family, all of that helps me stay grounded. And during those quiet moments, I often find the next creative spark. Whether it’s photographing cities or finding patterns in nature, my camera is usually close by.  On the outer edges, you’ll find how I grow. I’m constantly learning, through projects, podcasts, books I haven’t cracked open yet but plan to, and conversations like this one. I see design as a journey, not a destination. So, from the center outward, from art to design, to systems, nature, and growth, that’s how I think, and how I create.
